Early Public Notice This is to give notice that the Ford County Board of Commissioners, on behalf of United Methodist Youthville Inc., is proposing to allow construction of a new building to house a central kitchen and serve as a tornado shelter. The proposed project will be built on the Methodist Youthville Campus at 11200 Lariat Way, Dodge City, Kansas. The project will involve property that is located within the 100 year floodplain. The Ford County Board of Commissioners and Methodist Youthville are interested in discussing alternatives to this project and securing public perceptions of possible adverse impacts that could result from the project and possible mitigation measures.
